What Teachers Want You To Know

Your professor shouldn’t just ask you to attend.

They should be — and are — asking you to show up and take accountability for you to learn something that she hasn’t said or assigned.

All she can do is give you the blocks of information and knowledge. It’s up to you to form the foundation and then build the next layers as you progress through your education and career.

You will get to so much more out of school if you concurrently build a side project relating to your studies.

If you’re one of those people don’t know where to start. Start anywhere! It really doesn’t matter where you begin as long as you begin. Here’s why:

You have to know what you are before you can figure out what you want to do. Clarity comes from DOING. But, doing with INTENT — to figure who you are. This is called design.

Design is simply PROCESS. The reality is that success results from a commitment to a process rather than stumbling upon a great idea or a big break.

Luck, as you may call it, is simply the opportunity that results from all your hard work and dedication to your process.

Shift your attention away from results — that will come when you’re ready — and turn your focus to the PROCESS.
