But do people actually know “Google-Fu”? I’d bet less than 1% of Google searchers use operators. Google accommodates people rather than the reverse. If Google were to do a big educational piece on “How to use Google,” that would defeat the point of a simple search engine.
A far better example of this happening at a large scale is with Twitter with # and @, but those are elementary commands. I’m skeptical that a mainstream audience would take the time to learn advance commands for the relatively abstract benefit of doing things more efficiently.
