There’s No Such Thing As A Protest Vote

Thank you for this article, which deftly summarizes everything I so want to hit people over the head with. Or tear out my hair over.

It seems, also, that the “vote your conscience” angle is being pushed aggressively by third-party candidates as a branding exercise to recast what it means to vote, in a way explicitly beneficial to them, while painting it as being explicitly beneficial to them.

But, yeah, pointless pseudo-political theatre.

I don’t imagine you’ll have time to read each response to this article — 326 of them, as I write this — but if you’re open to being a guest on a podcast, I and my host would love to have you on our show Thinkery (thinkerypodcast.com) to chat about what you’ve written.

Cheers and thanks!
