Masks

Would you call yourself normal?

How many masks do you wear?

I don’t know my number,

But I know they are there.

The masks made of anything,

Seen and unseen,

I think they are essential,

Whether dirty or clean.

Unseen masks can move without notice,

Though the keen can focus,

In a way that uncovers.

How much have you accomplished,

With your true face hidden?

If you could see the masks would you use them or lose them?

If you knew your true face showed and only what is true,

Would you act as you did,

When you hid?
