More and more I keep reading that the guy in office say, he can pardon himself. People think he can. Get real folks. Have some tequila and relax.

Personally, I keep thinking of Mohammed Morsi everytime I read about how things are going in the U.S. right now. Are we headed there? Morsi got elected fair and square in 2012. He was leader of the political organization, the Muslim Brotherhood. The party surged to power in Egypt in 2012 but then things kind of fell apart instantly. WIKI says this:

“As president, Morsi issued a temporary constitutional declaration in late November that in effect granted him unlimited powers and the power to legislate without judicial oversight or review of his acts.”

If the POTUS can pardon himself he or she has unlimited powers. That means, there is no constitution or country. Saying he can pardon himself, is ridiculous to me. Did I tell you Morsi’s regime was eventually overthrown in a coup and he is in prison? Not how we do things in the U.S. which is good. But we also don’t have a country to accommodate a chief executive with total power either.

Pardon me, time for more tequila.
