I suppose there is that sort of reaction and backlash every once in a while.
I think of our contemporary cases: GMOs, Roundup, CRISPR. As technology accelerates I think the range of new tech in food might overwhelm our ability to analyze it all. At the same time, we are all smarter about understanding the food system — and that will only increase, I hope — that the average person can digest the pros and cons of innovations like CRISPR, synthbio meat, cultured foods, VR and food, and, yes, robots on farms.
