The crimes committed by Milwaukee killer Jeffrey Dahmer stand as some of the most gruesome acts recorded in recent history. The murders, the acts of cannibalism and necrophilia, and the attempts at making “sex zombies” by Dahmer all combine to give his story elements that are as horrific as they are bizarre. His life and times have been the subject of multiple books, several movies and documentaries, and, most recently, the hit Netflix docudrama series “Dahmer- Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.”

Found to be sane by a criminal court, Dahmer was sentenced to serve 16 life sentences, totaling more than 900 years behind bars. As it would turn out, his time in prison would be limited to less than three years before he was murdered by a fellow inmate.

On the morning of November 28, 1994, Dahmer and two other inmates, Christoper Scarver and Jesse Anderson, were sent to the prison gymnasium to clean the showers and bathrooms. After only several minutes without official supervision, a guard returned to find Anderson and Dahmer badly beaten. A bloody bar near the bodies had been used to bludgeon them multiple times.
