Hi. My name is Brian and I’m an artist, writer and legal blogger. I’m a Venn Diagram of different but complimentary disciplines. George Orwell said he wanted to turn political writing into an art. I want to make all my interests into an art.
“I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.” - Pablo Picasso
I’m the editor of the Ideas Workshop. Like my very own public and private Wikipedia where I record my thoughts, events and happenings. I’m also the editor of Media Law NI. This is a legal blog that promotes a public understanding of internet and media law. I also write for the Huffington Post and eamonnmallie.com, and I make political cartoons on Slugger O’Toole. I’m also a contributor to the America blog, Ordinary Times.
“The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.” - Pablo Picasso
