America, your civil liberties are under attack. The White House is assaulting the press. Discord is being sown among citizens to encourage violence and threaten our right to peaceably assemble, simultaneously ensuring as many are armed as possible. Using religion as a basis to ban certain actions is itself an assault on freedom of religion. Our education, information, and support systems are being euthanized in the name of conservative politics, while branches of the federal government used to control people (crime and immigration) are being empowered over state agencies. Do not ignore what is happening. We are on the brink of a snowy cliff that will collapse into avalanche and bury our freedom.

Pay attention. Think critically. Debate and discuss actively with open minds. Let yourself fill with fear of our current course until it compels you to act; let it be fuel to burn down your apprehensions, lock arms with your countrymen, and constructively engage government.

This is the last hill. Do not wait for hindsight to convince you of the need for civic engagement today.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
