A meditation for beginners
Someone messaged me on Twitter and asked if I could recommend a “meditation for beginners.” Here was my response.
A good beginning meditation is to choose one of your senses (seeing, hearing, smelling). Then focus on what that sense is experiencing in this moment.
The sound of birds chirping
The feeling of the sun on your skin
The smell of spring in the air
Give your attention to it fully.
Notice your concerns of other things fade away
As you feel yourself being filled up by your full attention
to the experience of the moment.
That’s a place to begin :-)
