Anyways, once you’ve found a way to get that image out of your head (I recommend tequila or sake; the hangovers aren’t as bad)another big failing with eugenics is that it operates on the belief that behavior and skill is innate rather than learned and developed. For example, you might have a horse who is the result of painstakingly thorough breeding from from the best race horses in existence, but if you don’t take the time properly train him/her for the job all you got is an absurdly expensive resident at a petting zoo.

The same very much applies to humans. Trump likes talking a big game about how he has a great big fucking IQ. However, putting aside that the practice is arguably tainted with a past of racial bias, its only supposed to measure the potential for someone to have high intelligence, not if they innately have it. You can very easily have someone with what can be considered a mediocre to low IQ who nevertheless puts the effort into their academics and moves on to become a highly successful and respected intellect in their chosen field. On the same token, you can have someone whose lucky to have a high IQ, but then proceeds to waste it away by focusing on feeding their own ego. Then you get this:
