My $6,000 Welcome Gift to Donald Trump
Mr. Trump,
First — congratulations! Big win, huge!
I’ll be honest, you weren’t the one I voted for. Or the one the majority of Americans voted for in fact…
But since you’re the winner here and are going to be our president, I’ve been reading up on your plans for energy production, environmental protection, climate change, women’s rights, immigration, and refugees. Lots of interesting ideas you have there!
I have also been reading up on your tax plan, which as a so called “West coast elitist” will actually reduce my tax bill substantially. Not to zero, I’m not that smart, but many thousands of dollars.
So I’ve been talking it over with my wife, and we’ve decided we can afford to splurge a bit with some of the money we’re saving. So, in your honor, we’ve contributed $6,000 to the following organizations:
