I write a lot of unit tests, and I get tired of the same old Assert.IsTrue(predicate) / Assert.IsFalse(predicate) syntax. The SparkyTestHelpers.Boolean NuGet package offers several alternatives:

  • Assert.Yes / Assert.No
  • Assert.Yep / Assert.Nope
  • Assert.Yeah / Assert.Nah
  • Assert.Yay / Assert.Boo
  • Assert.UhHuh / Assert.HuhUh
  • Assert.Yo / Assert. Fuhgeddaboudit
  • Assert.Bueno / Assert.Mal
  • Assert.Woohoo / Assert.Doh
  • Assert.YaasQueen / Assert.OhHELLno
  • Assert.DarnTootin / Assert.NoSiree
  • Assert.YahSureYouBetcha / Assert.NoWayJose
  • Assert.Cheers / Assert.Jeers
  • Assert.FoShizzle / Assert.NoDiggity
  • Assert.Cheerio / Assert.NotBloodyLikely
  • Assert.Aight / Assert.Whack
  • Assert.AOK / Assert.FUBAR
  • Assert.133t / Assert.5ux0r
  • Assert.Bonus / Assert.Bogus
  • Assert.👍 / Assert.👎
  • Assert.🍰 / Assert.💩

Nullable booleans

  • Assert.Meh
  • Assert.HellIfIKnow
  • Assert. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Happy Testing!… and Happy April First!
