I’d Get to the Top of the Mountain if It Would Just Stop Fucking Growing

I apologize in advance for the long and rambling response, but twitter wasn’t long enough for what I wanted to say. I discovered you because of the voice, and I’m glad I did. I instantly fell in love and ended up buying every bit of your music I could find. I even had the pleasure of meeting you in St. Louis a couple years ago.

It would be easy for me to say keep doing it, keep climbing that mountain. I like your artistry, so more is always better! But that’s a little selfish of me. I think you are very brave, and I admire that. You are doing what you want, everything else be damned. It’s not easy to take the hard road in life as you alluded to in your post.

I do think you were born to do something in the arts, whether it be singing, acting, standup comedy or something else. You’re too talented not to.

As far as the guy who said 29 is too old, screw him (not literally!) Alan Rickman didn’t start acting until his late 40s, and he’s just one example.

I’m really looking forward to Bruises. Whatever path you end up going down, I’ll be watching/listening/supporting :)

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
