Stop starting and start finishing.

Love this article! I am never more effective than when I crank up my task/pomodoro/get-things-done app and just *finish* stuff.
But there needs to be time in that mix for thinking, pondering, BS’ing, navel-gazing, idea-making, and most importantly getting off one’s high horse of getting shit done and figuring out if there is a better thing we should be doing right now.
Call it 80/20 ( you might have seen that ratio before):
- 80% getting stuff done. Yup, hard work, discipline, the stuff no one likes. This article is right about this. “Just did it” is so much better than “just do it”.
- 20% thinking about how to make it less hard, having that better idea, *gasp* automating something and making your life easier.
Sigh.. this means I need to wake up tomorrow and get some stuff _done_
