First, thank you for having a different opinion, and voicing it.

Second, just curious, and outside of a legal context: do you think there is a problem with a doctor letting their personal beliefs override scientific evidence in making medical decisions? By analogy, is it ok for a doctor to treat cancer with holy water and spectacular prayers, as many cult christian “miracle worker” doctors do? People commonly view the second example as an example of quack science and fraud. Let me know if you think that’s a fair analogy.
