Are We Reaching the Limits of Silicon Valley’s Venture Model?

I think the local nature of many VC’s is what is hurting their returns: the economy is global, companies outsource their production and services where it is less costly, yet most VCs continue to operate mainly from the US and marginally abroad. This doesn’t make sound economic sense. If I were to give advice I’d tell them to lobby for better legal frameworks internationally and start making investments where it makes the best economic sense.
