Love or hate the Greek System…but this is exactly what you do during recruitment. You know everything about every person before they walk in the door the first day…this is how you have conversations that just “happen” to be about “skydiving” with the one girl that loves skydiving. I used this exact method with my husband’s law firm…except in reverse…I made sure to know everything about the “summers” (paid interns/ law students) before I met them…I even made flashcards with pictures (this was before facebook). This way they thought that the firm must really care about them if the wives knew who they were. Great lesson…great article.
