March for Life’s president knows pro-life issues are contentious
The Lily News

Oh, dear, someone is angry that I’m trying to make decisions for them and then I don’t back it up with any funds to raise the child, give the child a decent place to live or adequate schooling. Nor do they tell me what to do when the baby is so deformed that it won’t survive outside the womb for more than a few days. No, no, I’m always right.

People are so mean to me — but it’s okay. I smugly announce I’ll keep interfering in other people’s lives from the sideline.

If you’re “pro-life” and not just forced birth, get birth control available for everyone. Get health insurance for everyone. Make sure the schools are properly funded no matter what neighborhood they fall in.

Stop dictating other people’s sexual choices and blaming it on God.
