Old School Business Approach to Blockchain Proving to be a Winning Formula

Three years ago, Cory Pugh was coming off a decade of closing successful venture capital investments in arenas ranging from consumer products to technology. He’d already co-founded and sold a successful billion-dollar consumer product company and had served as a division president for a highly regarded international firm traded on the NASDAQ.

Never one to stay on the sidelines, he looked for the next opportunity. Only this time, he wanted to build something unique.

“I’ve always worked hard and played hard,” said Pugh, a lover of any adrenaline inducing sport. “This time, I wanted to pursue something transformational, and I was drawn to the blockchain opportunity. However, I wanted to do it in an intentional, purposeful way — part old school, part new market innovation — that would deliver big for everyone involved.”

BridgeTower Capital bloomed from this concept. It was founded on traditional business principles:

· Execute financial discipline. Stay free of debt, keep healthy reserves, and focus on profitability.

· Be a great partner. Build long lasting global partnerships by always giving more than taking.

· Be strategically intentional. Remain patient and methodical in attacking opportunities that can be executed profitably.

“We recognize this hasn’t always been the cultural mindset of this industry and it may set us apart as being too traditional. We have always attacked from a lens of deliberate, responsible business acumen aimed at the blockchain space, versus those who craved this industry and hoped to someday learn how to build and execute profitable businesses. We think what has happened in this market over the past year has dramatically validated our approach,” continued Pugh.

BridgeTower has deliberately and patiently architected best in class approaches to proprietary technology, regulatory, and executive talent to maximize this approach.

BridgeTower operates a unique, on-premises bare-metal server infrastructure securing multiple blockchain networks including Ethereum, Avalanche and NEAR. It is one of the largest LIDO operators for Ethereum with more than 9,000+ Validator Nodes and it operates with 100% renewable energy in multiple locations.

Since its inception, BridgeTower has drawn executive talent with transformational technology industry experience in wireless, fiber and internet as well as business experience from top consultancies and Fortune 500 companies. Recently, blockchain and ecosystem experts David Post, who founded IBM’s blockchain ventures, and Andrey Lazorenko who founded blockchain technology powerhouses IdeaSoft and Orderly have taken on operational roles within the company.

Today, BridgeTower offers market leading tokenization services capable of migrating financial products and real-world assets to blockchain for faster, cheaper, secure settlements. This opens the door to greater liquidity and larger markets. The company can also execute Ethereum-compatible tokenization with multiple standards including BridgeTower’s proprietary ERC-1155p (permissioned) standard and offers storage and custody provider integration.

BridgeTower can issue on-chain, legally compliant digital securities to investors in a globally focused, compliant regulatory infrastructure with a multi-jurisdictional footprint to service clients around the world. It does this with the support of a deep bench of trusted partners aggregated and integrated into BridgeTower’s proprietary infrastructure.

BridgeTower will soon begin delivering best-in-class strategic and capital advisory services across the Web3 economy with an expert investment banking, capital markets, and tokenomics advisory team. This service will provide functionality for primary security sales, token offerings, or M&A advisory and access to global network of Web3 partners, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Lastly, BridgeTower offers an array of ecosystem integration expertise with a suite of blockchain-native services and products to help protocols and Web3 builds. These already include staked security product issuance and blockchain nodes available to ecosystem partners multiple project integration and cross-platform marketing opportunities and a virtuous cycle promoting growth of BridgeTower’s network and the broader Web3 ecosystem.

“We are not exploding on the blockchain scene — that was never our intention,” continues Pugh. “We have been purposeful in everything we have done over the past three years and now, it is evident, we have a proper, responsible company that has a technology-first blockchain integration platform that can deliver a full-suite of highly sophisticated financial products and services to build out the Web 3 economy.”
