I love this. This is what I’m trying to do from now on, for I am guilty of letting such a big task overwhelm me and I end up not doing it at all. There are so many projects I started but never finished because I didn’t start with the floor and work up from there….

Your job sounds like a very beautiful thing and I’m sure you are proud of the art you create from nails, cement, bricks, and wood. That is a genius mind trick — dividing the whole thing into separate projects and worrying about the view once the entire house has been built.

The most important thing is believing in your capabilities of accomplish the giant task you were set out to do. It’s not enough to just believe either; you must know, as you’ve said here. It’s just that I find myself going in, uncertain of what I can do and doubting myself, which is counterproductive.
