I really appreciate your advice, Alessandro, and I’m glad you could relate to this.

I’ve noticed that too, how overthinking makes me adverse to experiencing things that will allow me to grow and fight back against this struggle. I forget about the bare bones of things, just sticking to the basics and building upon my work. I keep looking at daunting tasks as a house I don’t know how to build, looking for a blueprint I’ll never find. I am obsessed with the finished product and have grown to embrace the result instead of the turmoil that is the journey. That will be the end of me if I don’t allow myself to develop through trial and error, for it is a natural process that is unavoidable.

After all, this is an adventure, not a performance.

I’ll keep telling myself that.
