Take advantage of this happy moment, Nick. 🙂 I’m glad things are going well for you.

People tend to take advantage of these times instead of actually living them, just wondering how long it’s going to last. It’s sad, it’s like the kids in my favorite class at school just watching the clock tick by and yearning for the bell to ring and dismiss them. That’s all they do, sit in class until the last one rings and another school day has just gone by.

We shouldn’t be waiting for the tough times to just go by already. There are some people who even wish that tough times didn’t even exist, or that we could all just fast forward to the happy times.

But… what are those good times without the bad? What is life without both?

I think it’s important that we appreciate both, not just the good. Because it’s the tough times that moulds us and schools us. That’s how we build resilience and cherish the good times even more.
