This is why so many students overload themselves with AP courses in high school — it’s not because they’re actually interested in those subjects; it’s because they just want to jump right into major-specific classes in college. I mean, why take calculus if you’re an English when you can “just get it over with” in high school?

I’ve heard of crazy amounts of AP exams taken, like 17–21. I have no idea how they managed to get good scores on all of those tests, but people end up skipping up to two whole years of college.
