Quick up on bitcoin

To buy today, pull cash and meet someone nearby at a coffee shop. Download MultiBit beforehand and take your laptop and a USB stick. Do the transaction on-site, not beforehand thru escrow or other means. Post the following instructions in your purchase request..

Meet

• [Name of coffee shop] at [full address of coffee shop]
• We can meet at [time] or you can text [your number] to change

Verify

• I will count out the cash for you
• Bitcoins will be shown to me on your screen

Transact

• Cash is left on the table in a sealed envelope
• I will give the address as a .txt file on a USB stick
• Confirm the address verbally (starts with/ends with)
• Will give cash when the transaction has 3 confirmations on blockchain.info

You may not be able to negotiate three of six confirmations (as it may take half an hour), but do insist on at least one. Blocks of data are offered to the network, a confirmation is the mutual acceptance of it.
