Election Revolt 2024: The System Has Selected Two Unacceptable Candidates.

At this point in the 2024 US presidential election, it looks as though the frontrunners for both of the main political parties in the US will not be taking part in a single primary debate. Trump has refused to do so from the very first scheduled Republican debate last summer and was still able to easily win the Iowa Caucus along with a majority of the vote in New Hampshire. He has bypassed the entire primary debate process for Republican and Republican-leaning voters.

Similarly, Biden and the Democratic Party are simply ignoring the fact that there are/were any other candidates at all in their primaries. Several state parties have outright cancelled their primaries and awarded the delegates to Biden without a single vote being cast. Even though there are/were at least two serious contenders — Marianne Williamson and Dean Phillips — Biden has shown no interest or initiative in actually campaigning for the office that he barely won in 2020. He has an approval rating lower than Jimmy Carter’s preceding his 1980 election loss, but instead of trying to win back voters through debates and campaigns, he is simply denying us the ability to choose for ourselves.
