Brihaspati Dev is the educator and Guru of all the Gods. Guru Narendra Sharma was the one who decided to create a beautiful Brihaspati Temple dedicated to Lord Dev Guru Brihaspati. According to Hindu mythology, every day is dedicated to a specific God. Thursday is specially dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Brihaspati. It is strongly believed that if the devotees pray to the Brihaspati keeping their hearts pure, his / her deepest desires would surely be fulfilled.
