At bb, we work collaboratively with our clients through a workshop concept we created. We call it Conversation to Creation (C2C). As the name suggests, the objective of this workshop is to take an idea to fruition, this happens through constant interplay of customer needs, brand and business drivers. Our approach to Design Thinking and stakeholder alignment has also played a crucial role in the continued success of C2C.

C2C has proven to be a reliable process that our clients trust, due to its high levels of effectiveness (value-driven, high-quality) and efficiency (speed). It helps us understand the needs, context and underlying data and business challenges. This leads us to joint Design Thinking sessions to establish concepts for the target experience, after that we quickly move to the prototyping stage.

We like to get to real as quickly as possible. Testing design directions, concepts, navigation, and content with real customers and giving them something to experience, touch and use early in our process generates great insights and enables us to test more daring directions. We propose testing prototypes with customers/ target audience as part of the approach, ensuring the finished product meets all the requirements of the user and business.

We define KPIs that our designs need to achieve and optimise the experience towards them. When our experiences are live, we measure against those KPIs and this helps us to continuously improve the experience.

C2C works on 3 main principles:

1. Design Thinking that works

Our process is stripped-back, flexible and focussed on delivering real value. We can go from strategy to prototype to product in days or weeks, not months.

2. Product though prototype, not PowerPoint

We like to get to real as quickly as possible with prototypes, not PowerPoint. Things to show, touch, use and learn from.

3. Maximum value through lean development, UX and design

Focus on the basics to create better product experiences for customers.
