Will Kaepernick Finally Show Up?

I have always been a Niners fan even when they sucked. I remember quarterbacks like Jim Druckenmiller, Ty Detmer, Tim Rattay, Ken Dorsey, Cody Pickett, J. T. O’Sullivan,Trend Dilfer and all those losing seasons. It was a sad, sad time; and me being an emotional fan made it that much more worse.

Now that we are “somewhat” winning, I am getting excited again. I am equally becoming more critical.

Now I don’t know if this is right or wrong but i’ll say it anyway. I am slightly irritated when I see Colin on the sidelines, specifically when the defense is on the field. It’s not necessarily what he’s doing, it’s what he’s not doing.

While I love my Niners, I am a fan of NFL football and great players. Peyton Manning is a great player. When his defense is on the field, he is always (and I mean ALWAYS) talking with the QB coach, reviewing film and trying to get better.

Why doesn’t Kaep do this?

I blame the media. I blame the media because during the offseason, they hyped him up so much that it got to his head. Let’s not forget that he hasn’t even started for a full season yet many claimed that he was “our future”. Stats don’t lie … and we all know that he’s averaging less than 200 yards passing per game with a very very low completion percentage.

Instead of posting Instagram photos of his biceps, pecks and collection of hats and shoes, maybe he should be focused more on how to be a better Quarterback and improve his decision making when on the field.
