Q: What was an life changing experience that you’ve had that has shaped you as a person?

A: I got saved when I was 7, so at an early age, … [my] family … taught me who God was. That I was really thankful for! Being most recently, starting a college ministry … called Full Accord Ministry . … Seeing God open doors to make that possible, to make it happen and constantly affirming us that this has been His plan all along. … That has changed the career I was going to take, myself spiritually and personality wise. It has helped me grow in every aspect of my life.

Q: Do you see yourself working in an industry that you could use your Faith and why?

A: Yes, yes absolutely! From a very literal stand point in being the missional community director of The Branch Church, the church where Full Accord Ministry is. … . [The ministry was created to] show [students] that the four years in Milledgeville we have, we are called to serve, and personally disciple people and see growth in their lives. …. On the other side of that I work for the North American Mission Board … and basically [ I help] their process of planting churches across America. So basically I work a team; planning and execute a conference that happens every three years. Also being in a place where we can encourage pastors … love on them, and see growth for that continual mission of life and what that looks like for His glory.

Q: Have you had an experience a where you have questioned your faith and how did you overcome it?

A: Yeah, there has definitely been some times, starting with even FAM. There was plenty of, not as much questioning beliefs but questioning how good God is and how much in control he is. Like starting FAM, that first night, it was like three or four in the morning, we are talking about what this is going to look like. When I went back to my room, there was immediate doubt and fears.

Q: Who influences you most in life and why?

A: I am really fortunate to have as many people discipline me in life … like Bailey [Miller] and Kyle [Worthy]. Bailey is my roommate, he’s been my best friend since we were three years old. So he’s basically seen everything in my life that I’ve been through … as far as constant encouragement, and even advice and discipleship … Then Kyle being our head pastor, which is an huge encouragement in discipleship and training … as what ministry future could look like. As far as my own personal growth, growing up, my biggest mentor was a guy named Andrew Kisler. He’s basically the one in middle school and high school, when I was still trying to figure things out and what a personal faith looked like … he was the one who walked [me] through all of that.

Q:What is something people don’t know about you, what is a guilty pleasure of yours?

A: I love a good romance movie. That’s not typical. I’m all about chick flicks as long as they are well done.

Q:Where do you want to be in life in 10 years?

A: Right where God wants me, I truthfully don’t know where that is. Every year, that plan is constantly changing … I know it’s going to be a ministry, I know God called me to that, called me to Pastoral Ministry. But that could look like me still being here in Millidgeville, helping grow The Branch Church and disciple kids there. It could look like me working for the network our church is apart of. So as that network grows, that we could grow to a place for having 10 churches in 10 years … Or planting somewhere like Atlanta or Athens or some other college town. Right now it’s all over the place but it’s about trusting God’s vision and what that’s going to look like.

Q: What have you experienced in life that is makes you, you?

A: Personality wise, it’s the family that I grew up in that is part of who I am today. I’ve got a brother that is three years older than me, so a lot of that was just following in his footsteps … I’m a lot more outgoing. There are a lot of things in high school and college that have emphasized those strengths like a college ministry … But very fortunate for my family for guiding me and disciple-ing me.

Q: What are your hobbies and why are you interested in them?

A: Church is definitely the center of everything. Knowing we are the church and we are called to a life of ministry for Him. That is ultimately the reason I wake up in the morning, it’s what we are called to do: be apart of this college ministry and the Branch church fills a lot of my time, it’s a hobby also with being a career … Movies and video games are my rest, those are the things I take pleasure in.

Q: What is your pet peeve?

A: I live in a house with some dirty people, and I’m not necessarily the cleanest. But I’m worlds away cleaner than them. There are dirty dishes in the sink that are not mine either.

Q: What three things would you change to make the world a better place?

A: Biggest thing is more reverence and intent of scripture … Being able to see discipleship truly happening [and being able] to thank God for scripture every single day. Life on mission, what that would look like, people using everyday for the purpose of Christ. Seeing the church act like a church and being able to expand … [and] living a life glorifying to God. That is what I would love to see.

Q: How do you feel that you as a person could change the world?

A: Of Milledgeville, there are 20,000 people here and 8,000 college students. The way that change could happen is what we call a “one for one,” basically discipleship. [One for One means] going out with gospel intentionally and pouring into one person. Being able to talk with them, walk through life with them, … care for them genuinely, knowing everyone has apparent value and being able to see that life change for them. As they grow in their faith, [they will be] able to do that for someone else. … As that continues, being able to reach all of Milledgeville, all of Georgia [and] all of southeast U.S.
