Exemplar Global and IRCA are separate bodies that offer professional certifications for personal and professional development. IRCA is the leading professional body for management systems auditors. It has a globally renowned register of over 12,000 management systems auditors. Exemplar Global, created in 2014 is a worldwide certification body ascribed to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024. In this, we will be looking at the difference between Exemplar Global and IRCA.

Exemplar Global:

Exemplar Global is formerly known as RABQSA International, and it’s mostly recognized in North America ex: Canada, the USA, and Mexico, and few other countries in North America. They provide independent certification for training providers but have a very minimum number of courses that they offer (18+ courses). You do not have many options if you intend to broaden your knowledge and be versatile in various management systems fields.

IRCA:

The International Register of Certificated Auditors is the world’s largest international certification body for auditors of management systems. All the IRCA certified courses are recognized globally as the highest quality for auditor training. They conduct 50+ Auditor courses & 20+ Quality courses which help you make an informed choice based on your career path. Once you complete the course in IRCA and receive a certificate of achievement, you will be eligible for Grade Membership.

The first and important factor to consider is whether or not you plan to become an international auditor. If you do, then I would recommend that you take a lead auditor training course with an Approved Training Partner (ATP) of IRCA being an internationally recognized and well-respected certification body. Additionally, CQI IRCA is the only certification body that can award chartered professional status which is highly valued by employers.
