However, we do not serve working class people by a paternalist view of we are helping you ( a petit bourgeoise attitude of superiority in itself) or by not giving the oppressed the necessary tools to analyze their oppression and way out of it (Marxism) . We need to present a way out of folk’s consciousness based on their current position of being abused to that of empowerment using realistic language not theoretical abstraction. That is the difference between ‘radical leftist’ and revolutionary imho. At least in my experience of 40 years of organizing in the labor, anti-war and justice movements .
