Tears for my Mom

Good morning. I just came into the office from a walk through light rain and bright sunlight. There must be a rainbow somewhere, I told myself. And yes, I saw it against a too-grey sky that defied my iPhone camera’s perception. I found myself telling a co-worker (kind of a stranger) that “There’s a rainbow out.” And then I told her that those were the last words I said to my mom when she was alive. Mom moments….Thank you for sharing yours. I could let down as I read you very touching words and feel a sense of sisterhood. Moms, they just are or aren’t and we daughters can find our inner life in the pondering of them. THANKS!
