Interesting piece. Regarding “ we have no idea what the world will be like in 2030” I’d contest that in order to respond to current issues like climate change, we have low carbon ways of living that already exist, it’s more about how to support them. Walkable cities, cycle commuting, fossil fuel free food systems.
