Just thought I would share my thoughts regarding this lovely piece of writing. Hope you don’t mind :).

The one night stand is an interesting practice. Usually both are not emotionally in the same place, because we are undeniably complicated creatures. Although we may act unattached, we seek companionship which indeed is its own form of attachment whether or not it is fleeting.

God help the person who learns that their chosen partner is not as emotionally shallow, and God forbid they realize that this person is someone so much more beautifully intriguing than they could fathom. Then that bodily connection will only add to that need to stretch out connection or run; as to prove to yourself you don’t need anyone(but, really it’s a lie). How sad that they may be the one mourning something more at the end of the night. Connection is unpredictable and fascinating.
