Are we telling these families they aren’t worthy of being parents because they’re suffering from a disease and can’t afford to treat it?
This Disease Affects 1 in 8 Women. So Why Aren’t We Talking About It?

This statistic of 1 in 8 floors me! Recently 3 of my good friends have been struggling with infertility, including my sister-in-law. I’ve watched it emotionally rock their worlds, and I can’t even imagine going through that. I have a feeling we are going to find out a lot more about the link of pesticides and chemicals contributing to it, but it’s just a hunch.

Either way, this has opened my eyes to the financial burden and I wasn’t aware that many people were being denied any assistance. How tragic. Those who I know going through these tests and processes really deserve the chance to have a successful pregnancy, and not be in debt over it. All of you couples also deserve recognition for the strength it takes to keep pushing through these failed attempts. I’m not sure all the couples in the world who have children without struggle would have worked this hard.
