The problem is that the FBI, and to a certain extent, governments in general, are not working for the common good. Politicians are generally working for their donors as much as they can get away with, and their donors generally get their money and power at the expense of the rest of society. Thankfully, a few of those who have that power, whether for public image reasons, general philanthropy, or just out of self defence, are fighting back against organisations that act more like occupying forces than defenders of justice.
