A slave is NOT a black person who is unpaid, whipped, and receive inhumane treatment. So many use a stereotypical image of a slave, therefore distorting or ignoring history involving other races who were slaves.

As a reminder to those who have forgotten the true definition, a slave is “a person who is the property of and wholly subject to another; a bond servant.” The treatment of those slaves was a “brain-washing” tactic that may involve physical abuse and/or verbal abuse. History notes that some slaves were allowed to perform tasks other than field work. To provide an example of history, First Lady Michelle Obama spoke of the labor performed by those who have came from around the word to make America great.
