Again, it’s all about the evil Democrat plot to attack Trump over Russia:
Russia makes a fine distraction for the corruption that was exposed in WikiLeaks’ releases of Democratic party emails last year, but more importantly, attacking the Trump administration on the actual, non-imaginary evil things that it is doing would expose the fact that Obama was doing those evil things too.
And again with the allusions to special insight:
And people see through the bullshit. Not everyone, but a lot of people. It doesn’t take that much insight to be able to smell a lie when it’s being shoved down your throat.
And another dig at the elite manipulators:
Addressing real problems gets harder and harder because establishment manipulators have us so psychologically fixated on fake things.
But actual evidence that disdain for Trump and suspicion that he engaged in potentially illegal behaviour with a foreign power to give himself an electoral advantage has transformed Democrats into supporters of the status quo they would have otherwise rejected is strangely lacking. Surely you could actually cite some examples? You know, give us a run-down of the shift in reporting say comparing reporting in Mother Jones, The Nation and any other liberal publication you can come up between the various presidencies to see how their focus has changed as you contend.
You attack “ NPR-listening, latte-sipping liberals who view themselves as open-minded and woke” — a wonderful stereotype BTW —but don’t bother to address specific claims anymore. Why is that?
