TTIP? It’s not about Economy, Stupid!

It’s about VALUES.

Do our values shape our economies? Or do our economies shape our values?

A Transatlantic trade agreement should not be about the now, but about the future.

It should not be about current economical interests, but where we see our interests lie for the next generations.

It should not be about finding the lowest common denominators for food standards, welfare, or environmental norms. But about our commitment for a better future.

A trade agreement should inspire future entrepreneurs, and the rest of the world. Its whole purpose is to transform our economies, not to achieve the status quo.

This is what TTIP should be about. And our economies will naturally follow.
