Why Some of Us Are Against ACA

Want to see why so many people are against Affordable Health Care even though Democrats scream millions of people are going to die if it gets changed? I did some research to see what percentage of gross income is taken out for insurance premiums. The parameters for this research are single, male, 48 years of age, non-smoker in Texas. I looked up the cheapest cost for monthly insurance premiums based on these parameters. In some cases I had to actually apply to get a quote just to get the numbers using a variety of aliases since I couldn’t repeat the quote using different income values on the Healthcare.gov website. Before ACA only 3% of my income went to health insurance premiums. If more than 10% of your gross income is being taken to cover insurance premiums you’re probably pretty upset. You can also see why so many covered under ACA have opted out and choose to pay the fine instead. It’s too damn expensive.
