This was a really good article (save for the needless SJW myth peddling).

What I try to keep in mind is that these companies have a decision making process that most closely resembles that of a sociopath. A sad, sad state of affairs indeed.

That being said, I think the best one can do is to workaround the corp’s ridiculous diktats, use their behavior as an example of how NOT to treat people, and jump ship as soon as your vessel is sufficiently fueled and ready for departure!
