My girlfriend is black and she is into rock and told me that she has gotten comments from her friends and family that she isn’t “black” because she likes rock. One of the things I love about her is her taste in music and she isn’t just a rocker, she has turned me on to some really cool R&B that her mom listened to and I’m an old school metalhead myself. It sickens me that you have to take grief from jagoffs who are so narrow-minded. Real fans love to see other fans and their race shouldn’t be an issue. When I was in high school, I knew a black guy who was into metal and we became instant friends. It should be about the music, not the flesh that we are wrapped in. Keep rocking and if we ever meet at a metal show, my girlfriend and I will have your back! \m/
