The stance is ridiculous. Yes, it disrespects the unity of the team and yes, it is not the way, time, nor the place for this type of protest.
Once again, I challenge these “so social enraged” athletes making millions of dollars off of a country that seems to so offend them to put their money where their knees are and organize and support groups that fight injustice on a practical and legal and community level.
You are “at work” to WORK and not to stage protests. DO it on your own time. Pay for the television spots on your own and your own time.
I totally believe in the message you are trying to send, but refuse to listen to what you are trying to say because of the way you are saying it and trying to get it across.
Quit football. GO to work in your community.
