To me it always looked like Roosevelt overcompensated for knowingly sacrificing the PH attack to justify public support for WW2 just as policymakers today overcompensate in demonizing Islam for the unjustified phantom in War on Terror.

In a recent terrorist attack against a Mosque a non Muslim was sentenced to 8 months of home confinement even though he repeatedly harassed Muslims and on at least one occasion pointed a loaded gun at Muslims threatening to murder then bury them on Mosque grounds.

Just imagine the outrage had a Muslim taken the exact same actions against a Christian church, just like you can imagine the outrage if Clinton’s campaign slept in Moscow more the the US while seeking election favors in exchange for oil profits.
