As a trans guy who’s looking to transition later in life, I am really loving this article. No matter what option you take, being trans is going to be difficult, and for some transitioning and going through struggles on an emotional and physical level as well as dealing with family and friend relations really is not worth the effort of making yourself look closer to what you want to look like and ending up battling that life-long dysphoria even after you’ve done everything you can do.

I think that we need more people like you to stand up for the trans community and show that it’s alright to identify as someone who feels like the opposing gender (or anything in between) but aren’t going to do anything about it. there’s so much shame from the community for people who aren’t coming out or aren’t transitioning and it’s wrong for an inclusive community to do that.
