6/300: Write about something presently in your life that is “worth it.”

it’s all worth it. all of it.

every half-finished book, every missed connection, every failed venture, every faded friendship.

every sleep-in. every lover. every bit of art you ever made and never showed to anyone.

every good day, bad day, sick day, off day.

we are the sum of our moments. the product of our interactions. each and every day is a wave shaping a stone on a shoreline. some waves lap gently at the surface, almost unnoticeable. others strike with a fury and never a warning. the end result is something beautiful. irregularly shaped, perhaps, but smooth and whole. take away a single wave — a single moment — and you won’t have quite the same shape.

subtle, but significant.

it’s. all. worth it.

it’s all worth it because all of it makes you, you.

and that’s worth it to me.
