I’ve read this before, I’ve heard this story in person and it never ever gets old.

As my main man Stephen Covey once said: “Begin with the end in mind.” If the point of a website is to sell stuff, don’t throw up a roadblock by creating a superfluous registration system.

Next time somebody wants to tack on secondary objectives to your user experience, tell them there’s 300 million reasons stay focused on the task at hand.
