Pescatarian Week One: It’s Easy!

“The hardest part so far has been giving up eating chicken sandwiches from McDonald’s.”

So far it has not been that hard going pescatarian, I can still eat most of my favorite food, dairy products and pizza. The hardest part so far has been giving up eating chicken sandwiches from McDonald’s. Although I am not vegan, I have stopped drinking as much milk, I drink a lot of almond milk now, you can’t tell the difference in cereal. It hasn’t been that hard to change my meals, I usually just have fish, protein shakes, or beans for protein, some carbs, and I have been eating more veggies than i usually do. My stomach has not hurt once during the first week, and I feel fine. I bought Toferky (Tofu sausages) for my house, and they taste okay, not as good as regular sausage. For school lunch I get whatever vegetarian option they have, which is usually a veggie-burger, and salad. One challenge I had is when I was at the mall, and my friends had burgers, and they were rubbing it in my face, but I just went and got a pizza. The reason I went pescatarian is because more Greenhouse gases are produced by animal agriculture than all of transport put together, and I wanted to help prevent climate change.
