Watch out for the ubiquitous “we.” Everyone is not you. How can we teach our children to fix things, when we ourselves rely so heavily on the outsourced app economy of TaskRabbit or Yelp or Craigslist to hire someone else to do everything we need? How do we expect our children to learn to cook when we use Uber Eats for dinner and Instacart for groceries? And, I can only assume from your freedom to change how you live, that you have enough money to do that. Not everyone does.
